The APC candidate, Ukachukwu, said, “We have people to take us to Govt House.”

The All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate in the November 8 governorship election in Anambra State, Nicholas Ukachukwu, has expressed confidence that the party has the right team to win the polls.

This was said by Ukachukwu during the campaign council’s inauguration prior to the election, which saw four current State House of Assembly members defect to the party.

Hon. Augustine Ikedoji (Nnewi North, YPP), Hon. Patrick Okafor (Onitsha North, LP), Hon. Paul Oti (Orumba North, LP), and Hon. Patrick Udoba (Anambra West, APGA) are among the defectors, according to BASEMEDIA. Speaking to the campaign council members, Ukachukwu claimed that the APC had brought together respectable individuals to advance the party’s goals.

“God sends men and women to deliver people when He wants to. Government House Awka is possible because of the members of this campaign council.

But without working hard, we can’t win. I can see that the APC will take over Anambra based on the developments within our party. But without effort, faith is meaningless,” he remarked.

He promised to impose a state of emergency in agriculture and other vital sectors that support development. He promised to give infrastructure, security, and industrial growth top priority.
