For the 2025–2026 season, Nigerian striker Victor Orakpo has signed a loan deal with Montpellier of the French Ligue 2.
Orakpo left OGC Nice to join Montpellier.
After making an impression at the 2024 FC Bayern Youth Cup, the 19-year-old moved to Nice in January
After winning the top scorer award with six goals, Orakpo made an impression on several scouts during the campaign.Additionally, the child was dubbed the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the competition.
Orakpo only made five appearances for Nice last season in all competitions.
He will be able to see more consistent action after moving to Montpellier.
