In a text message to Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president of Paris Saint-Germain, legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson attacked Arsenal’s style of play.
According to L’Equipe, the SMS was received following PSG’s penalty shootout victory over the Gunners in Saturday’s Champions League final.
Additionally, Ferguson informed Al-Khelaifi that his team “deserved” to win the championship again.
“This is Alex Ferguson, Nasser. Ferguson allegedly wrote in the text message, “Well done, it was a tough night for you, but you played against a boring team that did nothing but defend.”
“You deserve to enjoy your holidays.”
Ferguson won the Champions League twice while leading Manchester United.
