UCL: Enrique’s words to Kompany following PSG’s 5-4 victory over Bayern

Following their incredibly interesting match in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night, Luis Enrique, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, and his colleague from Bayern Munich exchanged pleasantries.

In the first leg of the semi-final on Tuesday night, PSG defeated Bayern Munich 5-4.

Harry Kane scored from the penalty spot to give Bayern the lead at the Parc des Princes.

Joao Neves put PSG ahead after Khvicha Kvaratskhelia tied it 1-1.

Before the break, Michael Olise believed he had tied the score, but Ousmane Dembele’s penalty kick gave PSG another opportunity.

“You watched the match from the stands, did you like it?” Enrique questioned him.

“No,” Kompany retorted.

“It wasn’t the position I’d have liked to watch the game from,” the former captain of Manchester City subsequently said. I told Luis Enrique that I don’t get why he enjoys watching games from the stands!

“It was a game for football fans.”

Next Wednesday, the return leg between the two teams will take place at the Allianz Arena.
