Arsenal legend, Martin Keown has predicted Paris Saint-Germain as the favourite team to qualify to the Champions League final ahead of the Gunners.
Arsenal will host the French Ligue 1 side in the Champions League semi-final first leg tie on Tuesday night at the Emirates Stadium.
Mikel Arteta’s side eliminated Real Madrid from the Champions League in the quarter-final stage while PSG dumped Aston Villa out of the competition.
While speaking on talkSPORT, Keown emphasized that Arsenal should not be underestimated, particularly after their impressive 5-1 aggregate victory against Real Madrid in the quarter-finals. “I think PSG are favorites to win it, but Arsenal’s triumph over Real Madrid has caught the attention of all of Europe,” Keown stated. “Winning 5-1 without a recognized striker is remarkable for Arsenal and highlights their achievements in those two matches.” The match will take place at 8 pm Nigerian time.
