Thierry Henry, a legend of Arsenal, has shared his views on the Gunners’ prospects of making it to the UEFA Champions League final following their 1-0 first leg loss to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.
The North London club in the Premier League was defeated by PSG in the first leg of their semi-final match at the Emirates Stadium.
Ousmane Dembele netted the sole goal of the game, granting Luis Enrique’s team a first-leg advantage.
Arsenal must now stage a comeback in the second leg next Wednesday at the Parc des Princes.
Nevertheless, Henry still harbors hope that his former club, Arsenal, can rectify the situation in Paris.
The ex-striker of France acknowledged that PSG were the better team in the first leg in England.
“Another tie exists,” Henry informed CBS Sports post-game.
“It’s impossible to predict what will happen.
PSG were far superior in this game, so a lot needs to be changed in order for Arsenal to make sure that they can beat PSG over [in Paris]. It’s going to be a different ball game.
“But as soon as [Ousmane] Dembele came off tonight, PSG dropped a bit more. It was easier for Arsenal to put pressure because Dembele was not coming and getting the ball.
“But, yeah, like I said, you are still in the tie. Anything can happen.
