With the Bumpa MoU for MSMEs, BOI Aims for a $1 trillion economy.

In order to increase digital market access, e-commerce growth, and job creation for youth-owned Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs), the Bank of Industry (BOI) and digital platform Bumpa have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Through the MoU, the Federal Government hopes to realize its goal of a $1 trillion economy by 2030The project demonstrates the bank’s strategic commitment to increase market access for young entrepreneurs, according to Dr. Olasupo Olusi, Managing Director of BOI, who spoke at the partnership’s debut on behalf of Mr. Oluwatoyin Edu, Executive Director, Risk and Technology.He went on to say that the bank is committed to giving young business owners the digital resources they require in order to prosper in the rapidly changing market of today. According to Olusi, the collaboration is in line with BOI’s 2025–2027 Corporate Strategy, which includes “Youth at Scale” as one of six theme areas that assist youth-led businesses, encourage technology-driven growth, and have an influence on the nation’s entrepreneurial environment. He asserts that thousands of MSMEs looking to digitize their business processes and expand their market reach without incurring significant overhead costs now depend on Bumpa’s mobile-first platform.
