ESPN reports that the draw for the 2026 World Cup will occur on December 5 in Las Vegas.FIFA has selected the American city after eliminating options in Canada and Mexico. The tournament will be held across all three countries next year, with 48 teams competing in the 2026 edition of the World Cup, up from 32. “If I’m not mistaken, December 5 is exactly when the draw occurs, or at the beginning of December,” said Pachuca executive Pedro Cedillo.
“I understand that it will take place in Las Vegas, and we need to be there to offer information about Pachuca, Hidalgo, and our two venues.”
The draw was conducted at the Las Vegas Convention Center the last time the US hosted the World Cup in 1994
