Years after a restraining order was issued, well-known American musician Chris Brown and his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran have gotten back together.

On Saturday, the pair got back together at the 2025 Coachella festival in California.

After a contentious breakup, legal restrictions kept them apart for almost eight years.

However, in a trending photograph and video on social media, the ex-couple were captured chatting, as Tran was laughing at what Brown said.

Following the development, the duo seems to have put their past legal battles to rest.

remembers that in May 2017, American actress and socialite Karrueche Tran received a restraining order against Chris Brown.

In her evidence, Karrueche said that Brown, who was previously found guilty of abusing singer Rihanna, his ex-girlfriend, had previously beaten her.

She claimed she needed permanent protection while expressing concern for her safety, and the judge finally granted her request.
