Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle is anticipated to arrive in Cairo, Egypt, to assist the Flying Eagles during the ongoing 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
Shariff Abdallah, the media officer for Flying Eagles, informed that Chelle will be arriving at the team’s base at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Monday (today).
Chelle will evaluate the Flying Eagles players before finalizing his list for this month’s Unity Cup invitational tournament in London.
At the 2025 U-20 AFCON finals in Egypt, the Flying Eagles have achieved one victory and one draw in their first two matches.
On Wednesday, Aliyu Zubairu’s team will face the Rising Stars of Kenya in their last group match at the June 30 Stadium in Cairo.
The seven-time champions need only a draw to secure a spot in the quarter-finals.
