The All Democratic Alliance, or ADA, is a prospective political party that does not yet meet the requirements to be registered, according to a Tuesday declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC.
Speaking to reporters in Abuja, INEC’s National Commissioner and Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee, Mr. Sam Olumekun, made the revelation.
He claims that although the Commission has received multiple letters of intent, none of them have fulfilled the conditions to move forward with a formal registration application.
In actuality, we now have a large number of letters of intent, but none of them have been turned into applications. Before filing a letter of intent, they must first fulfill the requirements, according to Olumekun.
It was discovered that the phrase “electoral” was left out of the letter that ADA supporters sent to the chairman of INEC.
