After scoring their second goal of the game, the league leaders, who had already scored 100 league goals this season, smashed the record.Incent Kompany’s team has already scored 105 goals, surpassing the club’s previous high of 101 goals from the 1971–72 campaign, which was achieved 54 years ago.
On minute nine, Jamal Musiala equalized the record with a header, and on minute fifty-three, Leon Goretzka broke the record with a volley.
On a day when Harry Kane, the team’s top scorer thus far this season, was rested, Michael Olise, Nicholas Jackson, and Raphael Guerreiro added the remaining goals.
More than half of the goals (58 goals) have been scored by the team’s forward line, which consists of Michael Olise (12 goals), Luis Diaz (15 goals), and Harry Kane (31 goals).
With five games remaining in the season, Bayern has the opportunity to extend the record even further.
