After months of refusing to accept it, UK aviation authorities finally gave the green light for Nigeria’s largest airline, Air Peace, to operate flights to Heathrow Airport.
Mr. Allen Onyema, the chairman of Air Peace, revealed that the airline has finalized plans to begin direct flights from Abuja to Heathrow starting on October 26, 2025
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo had threatened to restrict British Airways flights in Nigeria over the refusal of the aviation authorities in the UK to allow Air Peace, Nigeria’s flag carrier, operate to Heathrow.
