The Debt Management Office (DMO) has revealed that the allotment of Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) Savings Bonds for June 2025 was successful, totaling N4.01 billion. According to data released on its website yesterday, the DMO indicated that the bonds were offered from June 2 to June 6, 2025.
The 2-year bond, maturing on June 11, 2027, was allocated with a coupon rate of 16.121%, and the 3-year bond, due on June 11, 2028, was issued at a coupon rate of 17.121%.
The 2-year bond garnered a total of N2.01 billion through 1,202 successful subscriptions, whereas the 3-year bond attracted N1.995 billion from 1,321 successful subscriptions.
The statement indicates that both bonds will feature quarterly coupon payments on September 11, December 11, March 11, and June 11 each year.
June 11, 2025, was the settlement date for each of the two bonds, which signified the official start of the investment period for subscribers.
