At least ten teams have so far qualified for the Round of 16 at the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup.
This follows the conclusion of the latest group stage fixtures played on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Recall that Benfica defeated Bayern Munich 1-0 to qualify for the last-16.
Benfica triumphed over the Bundesliga champions thanks to a goal from Andreas Schjelderup in the first half.
Chelsea, for their part, secured a 3-0 victory over ES Tunis to also progress to the last 16
Enzo Maresca’s team triumphed over ES Tunis, thanks to goals from Tosin Adarabioyo, Liam Delap, and Tyrique George.
Chelsea and Benfica are the most recent teams to advance to the knock-out stage.
They are now alongside clubs such as Inter Miami, Palmeiras, PSG, Bayern Munich, Flamengo, Botafogo, Juventus, and Manchester City in the Round of 16.
