2027: The coalition offers me a one-term term, which I will turn over to the North. Peter Obi

Former Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi has stated that he would uphold any coalition deal that would call for him to serve only one term before turning the reins on to the North in 2031.

Obi claims that he is more concerned with honesty and character than he is with power.

Speaking during a Space session on X, formerly Twitter, with the hashtag #PeterObiOnParallelFacts, he made this statement.

More than 10,000 people attended the event in person, and over 3,000 people left comments.

“I will depart on May 28, 2031, not even May 29, if the deal is for a single term.

“My desire to be president is not urgent.

In answer to a query from a user going by the name of Balactic, Obi stated, “I am desperate to see Nigeria work.”

Obi said that maintaining zoning and honoring any coalition agreements are signs of political maturity.
