Ikwechegh insisted that the recall threat would not cause him to lose sleep because he still has the steadfast support of the Aba people.
“What transgression has Hon. Ikwechegh committed by speaking the truth about the Governor’s actions?
Ezeikpe declared, “The recall threat won’t bother or divert him.”
According to BASEMEDIA NEWS, the Aba Ngwa Indigenous Movement has threatened to start the recall process against Ikwechegh unless he calls a town hall meeting immediately to explain his role in the Old Bende People’s endorsement of Otti.
The group cried out that the representative’s stance did not represent the interests or mandate of Aba North and South constituents, as stated by Rowland Ajuzieogu, Adimchinobi Nwaigwe, and Jamike Ikonne, among others.
