Kano State representative Abdulmumin Jibrin has revealed how he attempted to mend the division between Rabiu Kwankwaso, the former presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), and Abdullahi Ganduje, the former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Jibrin claimed that his efforts to bring Ganduje and Kwankwaso back together had failed.
The NNPP leader claimed that only the two former Kano State governors could settle their differences during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday.
He remembered how he had previously been insulted by Ganduje.
“Everyone knows that I have always advocated for national unity, even from the beginning of the government, and I never stopped at that,” Jibrin stated.
Even though everyone was aware of what had transpired and I felt insulted by Ganduje, I made an effort to keep him and Ganduje at least somewhat at peace.I gave it my all, but I think it’s in their best interests to do so, and Ganduje and Kwankwaso will ultimately make the final decision.
