160 Unique Children Shine in the Second Unified Sports Tournament

The second Ellen Olusola Caulcrick Foundation Unified Sports event took place at the Igbobi College sports facility in Lagos, with over 160 kids from 36 schools taking part. The event, which included tug-of-war, basketball, football, walking and running races, and egg races, brought together pupils with and without impairments.Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Sustainable Development Goals, congratulated the event’s organizers and called for more assistance for kids with disabilities. “These young people with disabilities need love, support, and encouragement, and we should unite to show more concern about their well-being, their future, and their education,” she stated.
