Ruud Gullit, a former Chelsea player, has revealed the Blues’ main issue ahead of Tuesday night’s Premier League matchup with Brighton.
After losing to Manchester United 1-0 over the weekend, Chelsea is now in sixth place in the Premier League standings.
If they lose their final five Premier League games of the season, they could not make it to the UEFA Champions League the following year.
Gullit stated in an interview with Daily Mail Sport that Chelsea’s current issue is that they only have young, hurried players.
The Dutchman argued that in order to instruct Chelsea’s younger players, Liam Rosenior’s team requires seasoned veterans like Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.
Gullit remarked, “I know Chelsea wants to win, but they only have young players there.”
“To teach these young players what they need to do in training, you need some veterans.” They consistently commit the same errors.
