Liam Rosenior’s possible successors at Stamford Bridge have been determined.
Chelsea supporters voiced their wish for Liam Rosenior to be fired during Tuesday night’s 3-0 loss to Brighton.
For the first time since 1912, Chelsea has lost five straight league games without scoring a goal at the Amex Stadium.
Chelsea fans screamed “f*** off Rosenior” during the second half of the match against Brighton, expressing their dissatisfaction with the team’s BlueCo ownership once more.
Chelsea’s chances of making it to the Champions League the next season are greatly reduced as they are now in seventh place in the Premier League, seven points behind fifth-place Liverpool.
Rosenior replaced Enzo Maresca in January, and it was rumored that Chelsea’s management had no intention of ending his contract after the team’s Champions League elimination at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain last month.
However, supporters will probably put more pressure on Chelsea to fire Rosenior if he doesn’t improve the team’s performance.
Rosenior’s team has a chance to make it to the FA Cup final this season despite Chelsea’s terrible Premier League performance. They will play Leeds United in the semi-final on Sunday at Wembley.
Rosenior is still the favorite to coach Chelsea into the upcoming season, according to Betfair bookies. Filipe Luis, who had talks with BlueCo earlier this year about a move to Strasbourg, is the second favorite with odds of 5/2.
Oliver Glasner, who will leave Crystal Palace at the end of the season, is listed at 9/2, while Cesc Fabregas, whose Como team is currently ranked sixth in Serie A, is the third favorite at 4/1.
