Cole Palmer has been pushed by former Chelsea player Andy Townsend to leave Stamford Bridge in order to “rediscover his game.”
The English forward may quit the Blues, according to rumors, and Manchester United has been named as a possible destination.
Palmer scored 18 goals last season and had an incredible 42 goal involvements during his first season at Chelsea, helping the Blues qualify for the Champions League and win the Conference League and Club World Cup.
The England international has also scored ten goals this season, but his inability to return to his best form has sparked questions over whether he will be included in Thomas Tuchel’s team for this summer’s World Cup.
Palmer is reportedly feeling uneasy at Chelsea right now.
“First and foremost, Cole Palmer needs to rediscover his game,” Townsend told BetVictor. He has come a long way from where he was a year ago.

“I wouldn’t be shocked if, at some point, if things don’t get better quickly, he says, ‘I think I might have to seek opportunities elsewhere.'”
As they get ready to play Liverpool, the current Premier League winners, Chelsea is currently ranked ninth in the league.
