Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, a presidential candidate running on the African Democratic Congress (ADC) platform, has urged Nigerians to use the ADC to finally break free from the cycle of broken promises and recycled faces that has held this nation back for far too long.
When the ADC Vanguard Support Group (ADC-VSG) formally endorsed Hayatu-Deen’s candidature yesterday at an event in Abuja that was attended by over 500 party associates and supporters, he made the call.
Following the endorsement, Hayatu-Deen addressed his supporters and vanguard members, stating that the ADC is more than just a political party and that “it is the vehicle through which Nigeria can finally break from the cycle of recycled faces and broken promises that has held this country back for too long.”
Hayatu-Deen pledged his support for the Nigerian project and urged Nigerians and ADC members to work together to complete the task.
The endorsement is the biggest grassroots and digital demonstration of support for any ADC presidential candidate.
The party and Nigerians need a leader like Hayatu-Deen who has demonstrated ability in the private sector, according to Comrade Abdul Abdulkadir, the convener of the support group, who spoke at the event.
