Blessing CEO, a controversial self-proclaimed relationship expert, has responded to actor Alex Ekubo’s passing.
According to the DAILY POST, the actor battled stage 4 liver cancer before passing away on Monday in a Lagos hospital.
“God will punish cancer,” wrote Blessing CEO in response to Alex’s cause of death, seemingly alluding to her earlier stage 4 cancer claim.
“God will punish cancer,” she wrote on her Instagram page after posting a photo of Alex. We awaited your arrival. You battled in silence. May you rest in peace.
According to the DAILY POST, Blessing CEO asked the public for financial assistance in March 2026 for her purported chemotherapy treatment for stage 4 breast cancer.
The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Delta State chapter, responded to a medical report she provided to support her claim by accusing her of falsifying the report of a different patient from Xinus Medical Diagnostics, which was signed by consultant pathologist Dr. O.A. Odigwe.
Following the controversy, social media influencer VeryDarkMan asked for an investigation into Blessing CEO in a petition that was granted by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
