Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has come under fire from Arise News host Rufai Oseni for being hypocrite.
Speaking on Arise Television, Rufai claimed that the former vice president feels calm when zoning works in his favor but changes when it doesn’t.
As the nation gets ready for the general elections the following year, he was examining zoning.
“Atiku Abubakar ought to quit acting hypocritically. He doesn’t mind zoning when it benefits him, but when it doesn’t, he abruptly calls it self-defeating.
“Is this not the same Atiku who sued Jonathan in 2011 to uphold the PDP zoning formula?
There were a lot of legal cases. In one of the rulings, I believe the courts acknowledged that PDP had the zoning agreements but stated they could not acquire jurisdiction and provide a decision.
“So, zoning wasn’t self-defeating when he was going to court and pressuring them against Jonathan? He questioned, “What about when he left Olusegun Obasanjo in 2007?”
