A mentally unstable lecturer named Emmanuel Peter (40) has gone missing from the Psychiatric Ward of the Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital in Yola, the Adamawa State capital.
Peter, who lectures in the Department of Public Administration at the Muhammadu Buhari University (formerly the University of Maiduguri), was receiving treatment for a diagnosis of psychotic disorder, seizure, and substance abuse addiction.
The Adamawa State Police Command has issued a ‘Missing Person’ notice, urging the public to help locate the lecturer so he can resume his treatment. Peter is described as dark in complexion and capable of speaking Hausa, Marghi, and English.
The Police Command requests anyone with useful information to report to the nearest Police Station, the Office of the PPRO, or to contact them directly at 0706 290 1177 or 08065803697.
