Rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known by his stage name Odumodublvck, has accused the Nigerian music industry of age-cheating.
During a recent livestream with streamer Enzo, Odumodublvck said that many Nigerian musicians misrepresented their ages in order to appeal to record labels and companies that target specific age groups.

He asserted that many music industry financiers are reluctant to fund elderly musicians.

“At thirty-two, I don’t worry about doing things correctly. Due to record labels and collaboration agreements, many musicians lower their age. He said, “You know a lot of music industry investors wouldn’t want to invest in older artists.”
