A Nigerian content creator and actor, Odira Nwobu, has been reportedly pronounced dead.
The news was announced on Monday via a Facebook post by blogger and content creator Awuzie Frankline, who also shared a video purportedly showing Nwobu lying lifeless.
While Frankline did not specify the circumstances of death, it has been reported that the actor allegedly passed away just hours after attending a clubbing event in South Africa over the weekend.
Awuzie Frankline expressed shock and grief in his Facebook posts, noting the suddenness of the loss: “You were full of life even some hours ago in South Africa, and you even had your thanksgiving service just a few months ago. How can you return from South Africa lifeless? Honestly, I am drowning in tears.”
Comedian Evan Okoro also posted about the news, expressing disbelief.
The report also recalls that Nwobu was involved in a ghastly car accident a few months prior.
As of the time of the report, there has been no official statement released by Nwobu’s family regarding his death.
