General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, addressed the security crisis that led US President Donald Trump to designate Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern (CPC) and threaten possible US military action. Speaking at the November Holy Ghost Service, Adeboye stated that this is not the time to apportion blame, noting that President Bola Tinubu inherited the security problem. However, the clergyman urged the Federal Government to immediately eliminate terrorists and their sponsors before any potential US invasion, warning that China, Russia, and other world powers would not defend Nigeria, but only offer verbal support. Adeboye advised President Tinubu to give the newly appointed service chiefs a three-month ultimatum to eradicate all criminal elements and their financiers.
