Popular TikToker Peller recently dined with Nigerian Afrobeats star Runtown, weeks after publicly apologising for referring to him as an “up-and-coming artist.”

recalls that Peller was compelled to issue a public apology last month after facing intense backlash for speaking condescendingly about Runtown during one of his livestreams.

On Tuesday, he announced that the Afrobeats star had taken him to dinner, indicating that his apology had been accepted.

“You all see who took me for dinner,” Peller posted on his Instagram page, sharing a video from the meal. Huge @runtown, gentleman, may God bless you. I’m overjoyed; you’ve already brightened my week.
