Spyro disputes claims that working with Davido caused a setback in his career.

Nigerian singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, has denied claiming he experienced a career setback following his collaboration with Davido and Mayorkun.

The singer, who collaborated with Davido and Mayorkun in 2018 on the remix of his song ‘Funke,’ was quoted as having stated in an interview with Hip TV that he believed the collaboration would elevate his career, but instead, he encountered an unexpected setback despite the song’s initial success.

Davido followers criticized Spyro for allegedly attributing his bad luck to the 30BG boss after the purported revelation.

Spyro and Davido were included in a blog post with the X account @Naija_PR. The caption said, “My career experienced a setback after I featured Davido and Mayourkun – Spyro.”
Spyro responded by deleting the post and stating, “This is untrue! I never said anything. You have 24 hours to remove this or be ready to face the repercussions.
