In this research, Daily Trust looks at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria’s (FAAN) prior concession deals, which have caused the federal government to lose billions of dollars due to litigation, claims, and compensation.Aviation unions assaulted the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) entrance gate (toll gate) on Monday, February 4, 2020, in an attempt to remove the concessionaire operating the gate on behalf of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN). This incident caused some minor controversy.When three significant unions—the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), the Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals (ANAP), and the Air Transport Senior Staff Services Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN)—arrived at the toll gate with scores of their members chasing the workers away, the concessionaire, Integrated Intelligent Imaging West Africa Limited (I-Cube), was taken aback.
