Troops of Operation Hadin Kai, with support from Nigerian Army and Air Force platforms, have reportedly killed several high-ranking Boko Haram commanders in Borno State. The action resulted from major airstrikes in the Bama Local Government Area, which security expert Zagazola Makama noted took place on December 25, 2025. Sources indicate that at least 10 terrorists were killed in the first strike, including individuals identified as Abul Kaka, Ibn Mu’azu, Abu Muhammad, Ba Alhaji, Bakura, Modu, Abu Hassan, Kaka Alai, Abba Yakariye, and Bamusa. Another terrorist named Ubaida was severely injured. A follow-up strike by the Nigerian Air Force killed three more terrorists.
