Alan Pardew, a former manager of Newcastle United, believes Manchester City will defeat Chelsea in the FA Cup final next month.
After defeating Leeds United and Southampton, respectively, in the semi-final played over the weekend, Chelsea and Manchester City secured their spots in the FA Cup final.
“I don’t think so, no,” Pardew said to talkSPORT when asked if Chelsea could overcome Pep Guardiola’s team in the FA Cup final.
He remarked, “Looking at Manchester City against Southampton, they are in great form, their offensive players are on fire, and Pep Guardiola has such ammunition from the bench.”
On May 16, Wembley Stadium will host the FA Cup final.
