Former Crystal Palace player Clinton Morrison, has said there is “a problem” with Manchester City’s defence.
He reacted to City’s 5-4 win over Fulham at the Craven Cottage on Tuesday night.
Pep Guardiola’s team leads 3-1 at halftime and 5-1 in the second half, but a goal from Alex Iwobi and Samuel Chukwueze’s brace threatened to snatch maximum points away from the Cityzens.
Morrison stated: “Man City’s defense has a problem.”
We know they can score goals, so it doesn’t matter how they’re playing, but they need to improve on defence.
I’ve said this all season.
“Josko Gvardiol just made a clearance and helped his team to three points, and at the end of the season that could be a big three points.
“They have to improve their defense because you would never see Arsenal be 5-1 ahead and finish that way.”
