As the 3rd Daniel Ford Elite Youth Table Tennis tournament begins today, December 19, reigning national champion Muiz Adegoke will rekindle his rivalry with former champion Matthew Kuti in an attempt to maintain his position. Sixteen players will compete in the tournament, divided into four groups. The top two players from each group will move on to the knockout stage.At Molade Okoya-Thomas Hall, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos, the boys’ and girls’ U-19 and U-15 divisions will square off. Adegoke has been in incredible form lately, winning both his first Governor Diri Top 16 Cup in Bayelsa and another title at a club competition in Lagos that included some of Nigeria’s best players.
