Bayern rekindles interest in Osimhen, an Arsenal target.

In the face of increasing competition from Arsenal, Bayern Munich has rekindled their interest in Victor Osimhen and increased their observation of the striker.

After an outstanding run of form this season, the Nigerian attacker, who is presently leading Galatasaray, has become a top attacking target for Europe’s elite. According to reports, sporting director Andrea Berta attended Saturday’s Istanbul derby, where Galatasaray defeated Fenerbahce 3-0, and Arsenal has already carried out a thorough scouting assessment.

Berta is reported to have discussed a possible transfer for Osimhen, who has contributed 27 goals in 31 games, highlighting his value in the transfer market, with Galatasaray authorities during the visit.

Despite spending €67 million on Viktor Gyökeres, Arsenal is reportedly considering adding more attacking reinforcements because the Swede hasn’t yet performed up to par. However, if Galatasaray decides to part with their valuable asset, they are anticipated to seek a substantial payment.

The battle is further complicated by Bayern’s fresh interest in Osimhen, who has long been admired by the Bundesliga powerhouses as they prepare for life after Harry Kane. The England captain will turn 33 next summer, and the German champions are eager to find a long-term replacement.

While Osimhen is still very much on Bayern’s radar, the Bavarians are also considering other possibilities, such as Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic, as they get ready to make a critical choice that will determine their future front line.
