Six new appointments in the field of education were authorized by President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday.
The appointments were listed as follows in a statement issued by the Presidency:
The chairman of the National Examination Council’s (NECO) governing board is Professor Modupe Adeola Adelabu.
Professor Ibrahim Dantani Wushishi is still NECO’s Chief Executive and Registrar.
Chairman of the National Board for Technical Education’s (NBTE) governing board, Prof. Babatunde Salako
Professor Idris M. Bugaje has been reappointed to the position of Executive Secretary, NBTE, for a second and final five-year term.
Rector of Federal Polytechnic in N’yak-Shendam, Plateau State, Engineer Dr. Bongfa Binfa (5-year term)
Professor Chinwe Veronica Anunobi was reappointed for a final five-year term as Director/Chief Executive of the National Library of Nigeria.
