Champions League final: Chelsea legend John Terry criticizes Arsenal, saying, “You over-celebrated.”

After the Premier League North London team qualified for the Champions League final on Tuesday, Chelsea legend John Terry criticized Arsenal for “over-celebrating.”

Remember how Bukayo Saka’s lone goal in the match helped Arsenal defeat Diego Simeone’s team 1-0 in the semi-final second leg, eliminating Atletico Madrid from the Champions League?

Mikel Arteta’s team celebrated Atletico Madrid’s victory in front of their home crowd at the Emirates Stadium when the final whistle blew.

Terry, however, was not happy with how the Premier League leaders celebrated their victory over Atletico.

Terry posted on TikTok, “I have been looking forward to this game all week, especially after the poor game of football [between Arsenal and Atletico Madrid].”

However, congratulations to Arsenal for reaching the Champions League final. Arsenal was over-celebrated, by the way. Too much for me.

Yes, you’re thrilled to have advanced to the Champions League final, but I think you overcelebrated a bit too much.
