Enzo Fernandez and Reece James of Chelsea have identified the hardest player they have ever faced in the game.
James selected Vinicius of Real Madrid as his hardest opponent, and Fernandez named Kylian Mbappe, another Real Madrid attacker, as well.
Both players are getting ready for Tuesday’s matchup with Fluminense in the Club World Cup semifinals.
They featured as the Blues defeated Palmeiras 2-1 in the quarter-final encounter on Saturday.
However when asked about the toughest player he has played against in his career, Fernandez said (via TouchlineX): “Mbappé”.
On his part, James said: “Vinicius Jr.”
Should Chelsea beat Fluminense in the Club World Cup semi-final, and Real Madrid beat Paris Saint-Germain in the other semi-final, all the four players – Fernandez, James, Vinicius and Mbappe – will have the opportunity to face each other in the final.
