Members of the National Working Committee, NWC, and others have been urged by Ali Dalori, the acting national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, or APC, to prevent the resignation of Abdullahi Ganduje, the party’s immediate past national chairman, from causing division within the organization.
In the wake of Ganduje’s departure, he urged them to be careful with their words and deeds.
Dalori disclosed that in the coming days, he will provide them with a workable plan to direct the NWC in the meanwhile.
“I implore all party members and interested parties to remain together. Uncertainty is a common result of political transitions, but we must not let it foster division.
“We must stay away from words and deeds that drive us apart and concentrate on what unites us: our faith in Nigeria’s potential and the APC’s future.
“It will cover important topics like communication, member mobilization, party discipline, reconciliation, and wider stakeholder engagement,” he stated.
The acting national chairman added that he took up his new role in accordance with President Bola Tinubu’s directive and the party’s constitution.
He thanked Ganduje for his efforts to the APC’s advancement and wished him a quick recovery.
