One of China’s top producers of construction equipment, XCMG Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., has inked a $400 million contract with the Dangote Group. This is a part of the plan to increase the Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals’ daily production from 650,000 barrels to 1.4 million barrels, making it the largest refinery in the world.According to a statement from Dangote, the deal will allow the Group to purchase a variety of cutting-edge construction tools to assist current and upcoming projects in the fields of agricultural, petrochemicals, refining, and large-scale infrastructure development.According to the statement, the new machinery will support the refinery expansion’s current assets, which should be finished in three years.
