David Ibiyeomie advises Christians in the north to protect themselves from terrorists.

Pastor David Ibiyeomie of the Salvation Ministry has urged Nigerians, specifically northern Christians, to defend themselves against terrorists.
During a sermon, the clergyman reacted to the recent rise in terrorist attacks and mass abductions, particularly the attack on Christian worshipers in Kwara State.
Ibiyeomie cited the biblical example of Jesus’ disciple, Peter, carrying a sword. He advised northern Christians to purchase walking sticks and use them to attack their attackers.
He stated that Peter carried a sword for defense in case Jesus was harmed, implying that Christians should not rely solely on prayer but should be prepared to fight back. He urged Christians to “fire back” when attacked, suggesting the surge of attacks on churches would stop if people resisted.
The call comes amidst a deteriorating security crisis, which saw multiple attacks this week, including the attack on worshipers in Kwara State, the abduction of students in Kebbi, and the invasion of a Catholic Church in Niger State.
