David Mark: PoliticsADC will be on the ballot.

David Mark, the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has dismissed worries about ongoing legal battles and reassured party members that the party will fully participate in the 2027 general elections.

After being briefed by the party’s legal staff on a recent ruling by the Federal High Court in Abuja, Mark stated on Wednesday night that he was confident the party will prevail in all legal proceedings.

He declared, “You have nothing to be afraid of regarding all the litigations before the party.”

I want to reassure you that we will be on the ballot in every election and that we will win every case.

The party was ready to explore every legal option, he continued. Mark promised to personally guide the party through the legal process and declared, “We are more than ready for these cases and will do everything within the ambit of the law to surmount every situation.”

In an effort to contest the decision, the ADC’s legal team has already applied for a stay of execution and started an appeal against the verdict.Mark’s assurance coincided with the party stepping up its 2027 election preparations, which are thought to be crucial for solidifying its political position.

According to party officials, the move is anticipated to strengthen the ADC’s will to continue as a major contender while also boosting confidence among members and supporters.

Mark and other party officials were already informed by the legal team about the ramifications of the court ruling and plans for the upcoming lawsuits.
