Nigerian artist Davido has at last reunited with his first daughter, Imade Adeleke. The reunion occurred during the ongoing custody dispute between the singer and his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu. Reports indicate that the singer sued Sophia at the Lagos State High Court in April 2024 to seek custody of Imade. David filed this lawsuit after accusing Sophia of denying him access to their daughter.
Sophia filed a 102-paragraph counter-affidavit to oppose the singer and accused Davido of neglecting his responsibilities as a father after their sexual relationship ended.
In response to the chaotic online conflict, Sophia’s uncle, journalist Dele Momodu, revealed in an extensive Facebook post that the court has suggested the case be evaluated for potential resolution through alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
On Wednesday night, Davido shared a reunion photo with Imade, marking the day as the “Best day of my life,” in a new development.
