The nation’s civil aviation authority has threatened fire and brimstone and promised to impose suitable sanctions due to ongoing consumer-related violations by international airlines operating into the country. According to Daily Trust, Nigerian travelers have been complaining about unfair treatment by international airlines, the majority of which have not complied with consumer protection laws. Following passenger complaints about the treatment they received both within and outside of Nigerian airspace, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), the country’s top aviation regulatory body, has called out a few international airlines. Nigerians can travel throughout the country’s many corners with the help of at least 30 international airlines that operate there.
