Casemiro, a midfielder for Manchester United, believes that Arsenal will defeat Manchester City to win the Premier League this year.
In a recent interview with Manchester United icon Rio Ferdinand, the Brazilian made this claim.
In response to Ferdinand’s question on whether Arsenal can win the championship this year, Casemiro maintained that the Gunners can because they are so close.
“I don’t know if it’s this season or next, but he [Arteta] will win for Arsenal,” Casemiro remarked.
The former Real Madrid player responded, “Of course, it’s too close, it’s too close,” when Ferdinand asked if he believed Arsenal would win the championship.
