Jason Cundy, a former Chelsea defender, has supported Declan Rice to take over as Arsenal’s captain in the event that Martin Odegaard departs the Premier League North London team.
Rice, an England midfielder with exceptional ball control, is a defensive monster, according to Cundy.
Cundy stated of Rice on talkSPORT, “Defensively, he’s a monster.”
“He carries the team when he advances. He is intelligent and in charge. He will be the next captain of both England and Arsenal, in my opinion.
Odegaard may leave Arsenal at the end of the current campaign, according to rumors.
However, it is unclear if the Norway international will ultimately depart from Emirates Stadium.
