As the Red Devils get closer to a £38 million deal for Atalanta’s Ederson, former Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra has pushed the team to acquire Victor Osimhen from Galatasaray.
Under manager Michael Carrick, Ederson is expected to be Man United’s first acquisition.
Evra, however, is adamant that Osimhen be brought to Old Trafford by United because he believes the Nigerian international can have an impact.
Osimhen, Victor. Evra told GOAL, “I have all due respect for Galatasaray, the love he gets there, and what the player is like.”
“I have a great deal of respect for Manchester United’s strikers, and they need a true striker.
We had four excellent strikers back then, but you need more forwards if you want to compete in every tournament.
He remarked, “Osimhen because I know this guy can make a difference.”
Osimhen helped Galatasaray win the Turkish Super Lig last season with 22 goals.
