EPL: Following Chelsea’s dismissal, Liam Rosenior breaks a record

After being fired by Chelsea, Liam Rosenior made a record.

Following Sunday’s 3-0 loss to Brighton, Chelsea fired Rosenior as manager on Wednesday.

Calum McFarlane was then appointed by the Premier League West London club to lead the team for the remainder of the season.

But according to OptaJoe, Rosenior lost 10 of his 23 games as Chelsea’s manager (11 victories, 2 draws). This is the fastest a Chelsea manager has lost 10 games since Glen Hoddle in November 1993 (20 games).

Remember that a few months ago, Chelsea fired Enzo Maresca, and Rosenior took over as team manager.

Chelsea is in seventh place in the Premier League standings right now, and the Blues could not qualify for the Champions League the following year.
